This course will be conducted at my private home studio located on Upper St Giles Street. It is a dedicated yoga space that can accomodate six mats comfortably and so you will receive a similar experience to that of a private class. Mats and props will be provided.
The course is open to complete beginners as well as beginners who wish to consolidate their understanding of their practice. It will cover:
(1) Yogic Breathing Techniques (Pranayama)
(2) Fundamental Yoga Postures (Yoga Asana)
(3) Basic Meditation and Relaxation Techniques
The aim of the course is to provide you with some grounding in key yoga postures and breath in yoga. It will provide you with some understanding of alignment principles as well as it's benefits and contra indications, so that you may have the confidence to participate in a regular yoga class with ease and confidence. As the group will be small, you will also have the opportunity to align the practice with the strengths / weaknesses of your own body so that you may know how to adapt the practice to your needs, even within a public class.
This is a general Hatha yoga course. The yoga is challenging and invigorating with teachings drawn from various different systems of yoga to accomodate your different needs.The physical aspect of the practice is an accompanying practice to the mental side of the practice that you will notice over time if not immediately. The overall focus of the practice will always be on your wellbeing. Please feel free to email me with your questions.

* There is no parking available on site. Off street parking is available but if often very limited. Off street parking is available around the city or along Earlham Road but again they can be limited. City Center car parks are available within walking distance. Should you continue with classes, ample car parking is available at the other studio so this arrangement will be temporary ;-)
