This four hour workshop will cover the fundamentals of your yoga practice, starting with standing and moving into seated postures, backbends, forward bends and inversions, finally finishing with some relaxing pranayama.
The day's focus will be to learn how to use the body in a balanced way using equal and opposite energies and brining yourself into alignment throughout your practice. While it is easier to align oneself in Tadasana, once you move out of this into sitting, inversions, etc, it becomes harder to understand how to rebalance those efforts. Les will show you how to do that during this workshop
Les focuses on alignment and precision with the use of props such as cushions, chairs, blocks, straps and walls to allow students to understand and experience yoga postures more easily.
Les' yoga classes enthuse students so they can correct their alignmenr and develop and refine their own yoga practice. This way one can precent and heal injuries, posture problems and imbalances. Expect classes to be fun, informative, challenging and imaginative.
Les is has many years of experience in his own practice as well as in his teaching, having run popular retreats all over the world. YOu can find out more about him on his website www.bendyles.net.
